ImTOO MP4 Video Converter is a multiformat video conversion tool with the ability to convert to and from the MP4 format. The program supports a wide range of video file types, like 3GP, AVI, DVDs, FLV, MOD, H.264, as well as a number of popular audio formats.
As with all the conversion tools from ImToo, converting a video with this particular tool is a very easy, hassle-free task. The program interface looks really polished, with buttons and toolbars that put all the main features right there at hand.
To start a conversion you only need to load a video to the conversion list, which can be done by drag and drop or browsing your PC, and choose the output profile. Profiles are a set of optimized parameters for specific mobile devices and general video formats, which attempt to simplify the whole conversion process. Of course users with more experience can resort to the program's advanced settings to make additional adjustments. It is possible to add several videos to the conversion queue, and also convert a single video into multiple files with different output profiles. Once your video is loaded, you can use the small window on the bottom to preview it and take snapshots.
From the general settings window the program offers additional options; it enables you to choose the number of CPU cores that you wish to use for a conversion task, allowing you to improve the program's performance. The program also supports GPU acceleration, so users with the necessary hardware can benefit even more from this feature, which is actually a new addition of this version.
Although it lacks some of the features present in other programs, to edit and apply effects to your videos for example, the program works really well and provides all the necessary tools to convert MP4 videos with ease and good quality.
